Breast augmentation surgery

Breast implant surgery - also called breast augmentation or enlargement - is the most common type of cosmetic surgery carried out in the UK.

Breast implants can be used either for recunstructive (to reconstruct the breast mound after a mastectomy) or cosmetic (to enhance the size and shape of the breast) purposes.

Breast lift surgery (Mastopexy)

Breast lift surgery or "Mastopexy" is a surgical cosmetic procedure designed to lift or change the shape of a person’s breasts. It may also involve moving and changing the shape of the nipple. It is performed by removing excess breast tissue and skin.

Female breast reduction surgery

Female breast reduction, also known as reduction mammoplasty, is an operation to reduce the weight and volume of the breasts. During the procedure, fat, glandular tissue and skin are removed from the breasts, which are then reshaped and the nipples repositioned.

Male breast reduction surgery

Male breast reduction surgery is a procedure to reduce the size of enlarged breasts of men (a condition known as gynaecomastia) either as a result of obesity or hormone imbalance.

Results of Fibrocell will not appear instantly. It may take from three to six months to see the final results. However, because these results are created by person’s own body they can last much longer than traditional fillers.

Facelift surgery (Rhytidectomy)

A rhytidectomy, or facelift, is a procedure used to reduce flabby or sagging skin around the face and neck.

There are many different kinds of facelift, but generally incisions are made above the hair line at the temples, extending down in front, and under the ear and into the hairline. The skin is then pulled backwards and upwards before being stitched into its new position.

Mini facelift surgery (Mini rhytidectomy)

The mini facelift, which is also know as a short scar facelift or an S lift, is a cosmetic procedure that tightens the skin and soft tissues in a person’s face.

Forehead / brow lift surgery

A forehead / brow lift is a face lift performed on the area above the eye. The procedure is used to help reverse the wrinkles and creases across the forehead that may have developed over the years. It may also be suitable for a person concerned about a low brow or deep frown.

Neck lift surgery (platysmaplasty)

Neck lift surgery involves the removal of excess skin and fatty tissue, leaving the skin around the area of the neck and jaw smoother and more defined. During surgery loose or sagging skin is removed or tightened.

Nose reshaping surgery (Rhinoplasty)

A nose reshaping operation normally involves separating the soft tissue that lies on top of the nose from the bone and cartilage underneath. Depending on the operation, the surgeon might break the nose bone and reposition it, or reshape the cartilage.

Septoplasty

Septoplasty is an operation performed to straighten the bent, buckled or deviated nasal septum (the partition wall between two nostrils).

Septoplasty is not a cosmetic procedure (does not alter the shape of a nose). However, it can be performed along with rhinoplasty (a cosmetic procedure aimed to improve shape of a crooked nose). The combined surgery is called septorhinoplasty.

Fat transfer, also known as fat grafting, lipofilling, lipotransfer or fat injection is the cosmetic procedure of extracting a person’s own body fat from areas like hips, abdomen and thighs and re-implanting it to locations that have lost fat as a result of ageing and requires plumping.

Tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty)

An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a procedure used to alter the shape of the abdomen (tummy area) by removing fat and excess loose skin. There are two types of tummy tuck, called "partial" and "full".
